Inclement Weather and Remote Learning Day Procedures
-
Renaissance Academy will follow closings and delays issued by Anderson School District 3 (If Anderson School District 3 has a delay or is closed, then RA will also be delayed or closed). In the event of inclement weather, we will have a remote learning day.
Teachers will be available via email from 9:30 am-11:00am and 1:00pm-2:30pm on the day of cancellation to answer questions and for students to check in with them via email. Students who do not check in with their teachers on an inclement-weather day will be marked absent. Students will have 2 days following their return to school to complete assignments and have the opportunity to ask questions or discuss the work with the teacher. Students who do not complete these lessons will receive a zero for the assignment and will be marked absent for the inclement-weather day. Even though students are not physically at school, attendance codes and laws will still apply.
